I had this job one time. It involved sitting on a stool outside the entrance of a bar for six straight hours. Typically an hour or two into stool time, the late night breeze would send me a waft of cinnamon. Hot, steamy, sexy cinnamon swirling through the night air.
I still think about that smell.
Anyhow…
The function of this vessel is still debated amongst archaeologists. It seemed to be a carrier for elixirs and essential oils. Maybe a musical instrument. Or possibly the high-rise condo of a wealthy hermit crab.
