Incandescent
Black Light
This eye popping floor was created by a team of seven artists. The painted concrete floor was first scraped and cleaned. Next, the tile grid was laid using spray paint. Each artist chose a square that spoke to them and painted their own designs using various mediums and techniques. Many of the squares incorporate the worn paint and chipped concrete of the old floor into the design.

After the paint dried, the squares were then taped off and covered with a two part liquid resin. The resin not only protects the paint, but it also adds dimension to give the squares visual depth. Once cured, the floors are fit to handle regular foot traffic as well as head-spinning b-boys.
Black lights were later installed on the ceiling above the floor. The pictures below depict each square in both incandescent and black light.
